What if a mudokon from Oddworld was trained as a Jedi Knight? He may look something like this.

Yes, I am an Oddworld fan. We get around. I am also a Star Wars fan. If you hadn't worked that out by now, well...
I had for a long time toyed with the idea of a mudokon Jedi, and when on Oddworld Forums a guy called Mudoko_Jedi joined, I decided to draw one. And I did.

After scanning it it and submitting it to the forum's fan corner, I decided to colour in on Adobe Photoshop. I was (and still am) new to digital art in all forms, and was surprised how well it seemed to turn out. It was going badly at first, but the good old Dodge and Burn tool came to the rescue.

The pencil lines, colour, background, lightsaber and blue glow are all on different layers. As a result, tweaking the hue and saturation turns him into a much more- dark sided- version.

The end result strikes me as a bit "comic booky", so I did try doing a proper background. It did not go well, so I decided to leave it. If it ain't broke... I still may do it one day.

Mudokon and Oddworld (c) Oddworld Inhabitants.
Jedi, Jedi Knight and Lightsaber (c) LucasFilm Lmt, or whatever the hell owns them now.

Nice colouring again:)
and brilliant proportions again:)
The colouring style really suit the oddworld characters too.
:iconcaliburlesssoul:
lol... I love Oddworld. nice pose too. I would like it more if I couldn't see the pencil sketch lines under the color though.

That's what I though at first, but then I thought it seemed rather comic-booky with them. I rely heavily on the pencil marks in everything I digitally colour, they provide detail, sharpness and contrast, something I cannot do on the computer. When I remove that layer, or even fade it, that fact could not be more apparent.

Oh come on, if you can color on the computer you can add detail, sharpness and contrast, especially if you have the pencil drawing to work from. Just takes time and effort, you obviously have the skill though. Either way though it's still a cool image.

A mirror image
I am but one of two
I am but one of two who are one
So which am I? Am I the one or the other?
Am I the image in the mirror or am I the mirrors image?
:icondoranobaka:
Wow. This has to be one of the more awesomely awesome fandom blends I've ever seen. :D
