This is my first ever emoticon! Seriously.

I discovered that Adobe ImageReady CS2 came with my Photoshop program, and that it could be used to animate stuff. So I decided to try my hand at making a deviantART style emoticon. Based on yours truly.

Actually my first deviation, Mudokon Jedi, the one I adapted to be my current avatar. I've seen a lot of people make or be given personal emotes based upon their avatar, and I decided to try it too, which is why he swings his lightsaber into the block position (as in my avvie) rather than some cooler stabs and stuff, which I'll try next time. The other stuff he does was just me experimenting with expressions and making sure the ponytail feather animated properly.

I suspect something like Macromedia Fireworks would be better for this, but I don't have it. The biggest difficulty was actually organisation, with so many layers.

That's not a beard, if anyone sees it that way, but his robe. I tried it without it, but the lack of brown didn't work for me as my emotificated avatar. His disembodied hands have the ends of disembodies sleeves.

This little guy may end up as my avatar in the future...
